SPRING SALE REPORT
Clwyd Welsh Pony & Cob Association's Annual Sale
at
Vale of Clwyd Livestock Centre, Ruthin
on Saturday 28th May 2011

Top price of the sale was the 11yr old Section D ridden Mare 'Erdyl Delyth' from the Roberts family of the Erdyl Stud, which sold for £1,500 to E G Parry-Jones, Gelli Farm, Nannerch. The second highest price was the ridden 10yr old Section D Mare 'Moelgwyn Mia' from the Sangrug Stud which sold for £1,100 to S Moishall of Oswestry The third highest price was again a ridden Section D mare from A Thorne Pennardd Ymherodwraig' which was sold to W Jones, Manor Farm, Frankby, Wirral for £1,000 Two Section A ridden Mares, one from R J Roberts and one from Rosie Wilson sold for £900 each, selling to local families and the youngest youngstock of the day was the Section D yearling filly from Neil MacCarter 'Galonboy Celtic Rose' which sold for £800 to S Cook of Nantwich. |
